what else do you want to know? #faq

Our normal accounting services are proposed and agreed upon up front, and recur month to month, cancellable anytime, and we also have designed our Goal Based Compensation to work with you on accomplishing the goals you have for your company.
We work with other superheroes to provide tax preparation (Bryan), payroll (Tyler, and his team), and a host of other services. But we are in the fight alongside you throughout the year.
Our team works from home, distributed throughout the US (mostly on the east coast). We meet with you via GoToMeeting or Skype, and use cloud-native accounting tools (Xero, and add-ons). And while our work is dispersed, we love to meet our customers for coffee, dinner, or meetups. We’ll make sure to let you know when we’re heading through your town.
We are CPAs, and our profession has a long way to go to catch up with our customers. But instead of gripe about it (too frequently), we dig in and take responsibility, through involvement in our state societies of CPAs (Barrett is on the state board of the MACPA), and through national networks of CPA firm owners like Thriveal. We don’t hoard information, and are not afraid of “competition”. There is plenty of business to go around, and the future of our brand is dependent on our profession as a whole continuing to reinvent and redefine its value to the marketplace.
Our company is designed around building a culture focused on our team’s whole life. Barrett was heavily influenced by Dan Pink’s excellent work, Drive, to build a company where Autonomy, Mastery, and Purpose were valued. We value results over time spent, work at odd hours of the night, and pay our team with fitness and education stipends to take care of our whole bodies. We are watchful for burnout and love to play. Our team enjoys lunch or coffee together virtually every week, and we take an annual company retreat to the mountains to get away from the day-to-day and build our culture in person.
